Rehab Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to patients within community and clinical settings
• Assist with daily living activities
• Implement rehabilitation exercises as directed by physiotherapists
• Provide manual handling support to patients in their homes
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families

Requirements

• Previous experience as a rehabilitation support worker
• Ability to work independently and perform lone working in the community
• Physically capable of traveling around the community
• Ability to provide manual handling in home environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
