About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist professional staff with patient care under direct clinical supervision
- Support rehabilitation operations with clerical, scheduling, and patient communication tasks
- Maintain equipment cleaning logs, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safe equipment use
- Follow infection control, documentation, and regulatory standards
- Greet patients and guests, verify information, and provide timely updates
- Help with patient records, authorizations, payments, inventory, and faxing as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work onsite in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Bachelor’s degree
- Bilingual skills
