Rehab Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support patients in the community recovering from post-surgery, strokes, or other medical issues
• Help patients with mobility exercises and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with setting up and conducting therapy sessions
• Monitor patient progress and provide emotional and physical support
• Perform administrative tasks and maintain patient records
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Rehab Assistant or in healthcare support (desirable)
• Ability to assist with mobility and rehabilitation tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of rehabilitation processes (desirable)
