Regulatory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support customers with NYC Legionella compliance (LL77 and Bill 1390) through sampling, inspections, audits, and technical support.
• Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts.
• Provide technical support to identify and resolve customer challenges, escalating issues as required.
• Inspect, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment.
• Conduct regular compliance sampling and reporting to support water system permits.
• Create and maintain Water Management Plans for customers and train them on water quality responsibilities.
• Ensure remediations are carried out properly and assist with scheduling as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces, damp/dusty locations, and at heights.
• Physical ability to perform duties such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and physical exam.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry.
• Working knowledge of cooling towers and water treatment control systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
