Regulatory Reporting Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of trade and transaction reports in compliance with global regulations such as EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, and ASIC
• Monitor and reconcile reporting data across internal systems and external platforms to resolve discrepancies
• Conduct root cause analysis for reporting errors and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on existing reporting processes
• Provide guidance, training, and leadership to team members regarding regulatory standards
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Technology teams to implement regulatory changes and system enhancements
• Lead or support regulatory reporting projects, system upgrades, and UAT processes

Requirements

• Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Finance or Business Management
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting or financial operations
• Strong understanding of global regulatory regimes including EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, CFTC, ASIC, and MAS
• Familiarity with the trade lifecycle across various asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and FX
• Experience working with regulatory reporting platforms such as DTCC or TRAX
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and data accuracy
