Regulatory Reporting Assurance - Vice President

Responsibilities

• Work independently on targeted review projects (1-4 months) regarding regulatory calculations and related disclosures.
• Perform substantive testing by recreating calculations using Excel or Alteryx to validate regulatory implementations.
• Review requirements for upcoming regulatory implementations, including future regulation and COREP requirements.
• Assist the Reporting team with the implementation of remediation plans and strategic projects.
• Track regulatory reporting publications and EBA Q&A’s to provide subject matter expertise and reporting interpretations.
• Write and present detailed reports of findings, impact assessments, and remediation recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Familiarity with CRR2/3 and COREP reporting requirements under UK/EU regulation.
• Strong understanding of investment banking products, including derivatives, security financing transactions, and banking products (deposits, loans, credit facilities).
• Degree qualification combined with either an accountancy qualification or significant experience within the Financial Services industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically review and challenge financial data.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IFPR regulatory rules and reporting requirements.
• Experience using Alteryx to build complex solutions with large datasets.
