About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end regulatory process for new product launches and lifecycle maintenance, including dossier preparation and registration.
- Develop robust regulatory strategies and conduct gap analyses to identify and mitigate risks early.
- Act as a strategic partner to Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and QA teams to embed regulatory requirements into business processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Health Authorities and industry bodies, managing inspections and responding to queries.
- Monitor global and local regulatory landscapes, including e-commerce and sustainability trends, to analyze impacts on the portfolio.
- Lead and mentor junior regulatory affairs staff and cross-functional teams to build organizational capability.
- Navigate complex regulatory landscapes for Cross-Border E-commerce and OTC/Self-Care initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or regulatory field (e.g., Pharmacy, Life Sciences).
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably within consumer healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
- Proven expertise in managing the full product lifecycle and complex regulatory submissions.
- Proficiency with regulatory systems such as Veeva Vault.
- Strong strategic acumen and the ability to interpret complex global guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for negotiating with health authorities and presenting to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of diverse product categories including Rx/OTC, Medical Devices, Cosmetics, and Food Supplements.
- Ability to provide expert recommendations to management regarding regulatory risks and mitigation.
- Familiarity with global standards and certifications such as ISO or HACCP.
- Experience with manufacturing or R&D operations to support compliant product development.
