Regulatory Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory guidance across different asset classes including equities, listed and OTC derivatives, commodities, fixed income, and digital assets
• Coordinate legal advice in jurisdictions across the APAC region
• Partner with the Compliance team to advise on regulatory licensing, reporting, and market access obligations
• Assist in preparing for and responding to regulatory inspections or investigations
• Contribute to strategic projects and business development initiatives across APAC
• Work closely with legal teams in the UK and US as part of a global legal function

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of PQE in a relevant practice area (non-contentious or contentious regulatory)
• Experience within a leading law firm or in-house with a financial institution
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to identify and distill key issues in complex areas
• Strong decision making and risk management skills
• Fluency in English
