About the role
Responsibilities
- Support initial airworthiness activities during product development to ensure design, integration, and testing align with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain certification documentation, including certification basis, Means of Compliance, and compliance demonstration packages.
- Assist with Permit to Fly documentation, flight test readiness, and supporting compliance evidence.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Safety, and Flight Test teams to ensure airworthiness-relevant data and configuration baselines are properly captured and traceable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- Relevant experience in aircraft or UAS development and certification support.
- Knowledge of airworthiness, regulatory approval activities, and compliance demonstration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional training in airworthiness, design assurance, configuration management, or aviation safety.
- Experience with Permit to Fly processes and flight test airworthiness support.
