Regulatory Compliance Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for routine communications with regulators, such as the FCA.
• Draft regulatory information responses, requests, and reports.
• Interpret new regulatory guidance and advise the business on how to convert rules into actionable items.
• Play a key role in new license applications and variations of permission.
• Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to embed compliance requirements into new products and processes.
• Coordinate interactions with external auditors during regulatory audits.
• Educate and advise internal stakeholders to foster a strong regulatory culture.

Requirements

• Prior financial services regulatory exposure.
• Familiarity with both payments and crypto assets.
• Proven experience dealing directly with regulators.
• Experience playing a significant role in regulatory applications.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• A proactive, reliable, and collaborative approach to work.
