Regulatory Compliance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory and policy engagements related to technology and product certifications in India
• Study new regulations and collaborate with Regulators, Policy Makers, Standardization Bodies, and Industry Associations to develop compliance solutions
• Assess product security testing requirements and handle ICT/Telecom certifications
• Manage complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, including partners and labs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Telecommunications engineering
• 8-12 years of relevant work experience in testing and certification of ICT/Telecom products or consumer electronics
• Hands-on experience with Indian regulatory requirements and established relationships with Indian Regulators
• In-depth understanding of 3GPP, IEEE, and IPv6 standards
• Strong knowledge of RF testing, frequency spectrum, and standards such as ETSI EN 300 328, ETSI EN 303 687, EN 300 440, and ETSI EN 301 893
• Proficiency with technologies including NFC, RFID, WPT, WLAN (2.4/5/6 GHz), BT/BLE, Zigbee, and UWB
• Proven Program/Project Management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Telecommunications engineering
• Experience in the consumer electronics, Telecom, or IT sectors within a multinational environment
• Experience managing Product/Device Security Certifications from regulatory bodies
• Understanding of the device security stack, including Hardware, OS, and Applications
• Proficiency in programming languages
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
