Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the IFF TASTE business with a primary focus on the Greater China region
• Provide regional input to global regulatory affairs strategies and execute local strategies
• Interact with regional business teams to identify needs and prioritize regulatory efforts
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant regional competent authorities
• Lead local interactions on regulatory projects with industry associations, key opinion leaders, and customers
• Maintain expert knowledge of local regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and meet timelines
• Manage regulatory dossier preparation, filing, and the monitoring/follow-up process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure regulatory compliance for sustainable business growth

Requirements

• MS degree or higher in Flavor, Food Science, Chemical, Medicine, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related major
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the flavor industry or food regulatory compliance, including experience in approvals, advocacy, or R&D
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (oral and written)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high sense of ownership and team spirit
