About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Puget Sound team providing certification guidance and direction to airplane programs
  • Interface with program leaders and domestic/international regulatory authorities (FAA/EASA)
  • Coordinate and convey certification strategies, objectives, and status to regulatory agencies
  • Navigate complex regulatory landscapes and provide guidance to stakeholders across all management levels
  • Collaborate with program leaders to implement compliance measures and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Manage team budgets, headcounts, and staffing strategies
  • Support employee development, engagement, and expertise enhancement
  • Ensure ODA objectives and procedures are understood and implemented across the value stream

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
  • 2+ years of experience with regulatory requirements
  • 2+ years of experience integrating cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams or major initiatives
  • 2+ years of Aircraft Certification experience
  • Experience with FAA certification activities and processes within a Boeing business unit
  • Experience with Configuration or Change Management processes
