About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead student registration processes, including troubleshooting and processing data changes in compliance with college policies.
- Evaluate transfer coursework from outside institutions and examinations like CLEP or AP to determine equivalencies.
- Coordinate with academic department chairs and program directors to ensure accurate course articulation.
- Provide student-focused service by responding to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff regarding registration and records.
- Maintain and update student information within the Student Information Systems (SIS).
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including FERPA.
- Assist with special projects, system testing, and the development of training materials for college policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working in a Registrar, Records, or related office environment.
- Working knowledge of student records processes, grading, degree awarding, and degree audit systems.
- Experience using student information systems (SIS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

- In-depth experience specifically within registration and records management.
