Registration Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate PreAccess activities, including registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance.
• Oversee daily operational responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce denials.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to staff to foster a culture of accountability.
• Collaborate with Patient Access Managers and stakeholders to resolve escalated operational and patient-related issues.
• Support staffing plans, resource allocation, and onboarding/training of team members.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and revenue cycle best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Patient Access experience in a healthcare setting.
• 1–2 years of progressive leadership experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle processes, insurance requirements, and patient access workflows.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and patient access systems.
• Current permanent U.S. work authorization.
• Ability to work onsite at Baystate Health facilities in Springfield, MA.
• Ability to support 24/7 operations, including participation in on-call coverage as needed.
