About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, and collection/analysis of lab samples
  • Manage nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
  • Administer medications and communicate treatment plans effectively with clients
  • Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia administration, and surgical monitoring
  • Execute diagnostic imaging, including radiographic positioning and image capture

Requirements

  • Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license
  • Proficiency in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring
  • Expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques
  • Strong client communication and medical record management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and availability to work some Saturdays
  • Professionalism and commitment to continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of professional veterinary experience
  • Proficiency in dental radiography
