Registered Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Utilize RVT license to provide high-quality compassionate animal care
• Record accurate medical records using appropriate veterinary terminology
• Perform radiology with an understanding of appropriate fields
• Complete lab work and medical calculations as needed
• Manage veterinary pharmacology and log controlled medications
• Collaborate closely with DVMs and clinic coworkers
• Communicate discharge instructions clearly to pet owners
• Act as a brand ambassador to help grow the local clinic membership base
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and upkeep

Requirements

• Valid Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license
• Successful completion of the VTNE
• Proficiency in radiology and medical record documentation
• Strong knowledge of veterinary pharmacology
• Ability to perform duties autonomously and work as part of a team

• Enthusiasm for surgery and anesthesia
