Registered Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on patient care and execute treatment plans
• Advocate for both pets and their owners
• Perform a regular rotation of appointments including wellness, sick, urgent care, and RVT appointments
• Manage anesthesia and dental days
• Utilize technical skills for blood draws and patient handling
• Uphold the Juno Standard of Care through high-quality medical practice
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development

Requirements

• Valid Veterinary Technician License (RVT, LVT)
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a clinic setting
• Knowledge of general practice (vaccine schedules, medication, nutrition)
• Experience with anesthesia and multiparameter monitoring
• Proficiency in dental scaling and polishing
• Ability to communicate with empathy and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to perform dental charting and oral nerve blocks
• Knowledge of X-ray positioning and troubleshooting
• Advanced technical skills in blood draws and patient restraint
