Registered Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide professional respiratory therapy care to patients of all ages in a safe and effective manner
• Manage mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation modalities
• Administer medications and utilize various medical equipment as required
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote patient health, comfort, and life
• Perform basic respiratory therapy skills and assist providers within the respiratory scope of practice

Requirements

• Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential (RRT must be obtained within one year of hire)
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification
• ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• PALS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
