Registered Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, resident-centred nursing care per College of Nurses of Ontario standards
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Assess residents, monitor condition changes, and communicate with the care team
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Supervise and support Personal Support Workers
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and changing resident needs
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members

Requirements

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check and all required pre-employment health requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Long-Term Care, Retirement Living, or geriatric nursing
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems
