Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver care for residents with complex needs
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Lead care teams by supervising and mentoring PSWs
• Perform therapies including subcutaneous hypodermoclysis, IV therapy, and wound care
• Manage and document pressure injuries using digital photography
• Partner with physicians and nurse practitioners to adjust care plans
• Complete accurate clinical documentation using digital tools
• Support and educate families during challenging moments

Requirements

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing
• Completed Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) within the past 6 months
• Updated TB 2 Step within the last year
