About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform technical verification for a high volume of refill prescriptions
- Support operation of automated dispensing, manual dispensing, and robotic packaging equipment
- Organize and stage prepared prescriptions for delivery to home pharmacy locations
- Enter outgoing deliveries into the delivery management platform
- Follow NAPRA, provincial regulatory, and organizational standards
- Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance
- Collaborate with Central Fill Pharmacists and dispensary teams
- Assist with Long Term Care (LTC) operational tasks as needed
Requirements
- Pharmacy technician license recognized in PEI or another Canadian Province
- Strong understanding of dispensing systems, automation, and pharmacy information systems
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in community, central fill, or hospital pharmacy
