Registered Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform technical verification for a high volume of refill prescriptions
• Support operation of automated dispensing, manual dispensing, and robotic packaging equipment
• Organize and stage prepared prescriptions for delivery to home pharmacy locations
• Enter outgoing deliveries into the delivery management platform
• Follow NAPRA, provincial regulatory, and organizational standards
• Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance
• Collaborate with Central Fill Pharmacists and dispensary teams
• Assist with Long Term Care (LTC) operational tasks as needed

Requirements

• Pharmacy technician license recognized in PEI or another Canadian Province
• Strong understanding of dispensing systems, automation, and pharmacy information systems
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in community, central fill, or hospital pharmacy
