Registered Observation Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients
• Carry out physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Identify emergencies and provide necessary interventions
• Perform POC testing and equipment quality checks
• Communicate appropriately with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Manage patient data including history, age, weight, and orientation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Address patient concerns with tact, courtesy, and poise

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas RN licensure in good standing
• BLS and ACLS credentials
• Ability to obtain PALS/ENPC and NIH Stroke Scale certification within six months
• Exceptional customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• ICU experience
