Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients ranging from infants to young adults
• Deliver family-centered care through close collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Support a wide range of pediatric medical and surgical specialties, including Oncology, Cardiology, Trauma, and Neurosurgery
• Work within the Central Staffing Resource Department to support various units within the Pediatric Acute Care Cluster

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience in pediatric acute care
• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift, including alternating weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience working as a float RN
• Broad range of pediatric clinical experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Groupwise
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
