About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level specialty care to neurology and neurosurgery patients within a state-of-the-art neurosciences center
- Manage care for patients with diagnoses including brain and spinal cord tumors, epilepsy, stroke, cerebral aneurysm, neuropathy, Myasthenia Gravis, and head/spinal cord trauma
- Work within a 48-bed unit on Pavilion 8
- Float to designated units as needed during times of low census
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license
- Successful completion of the NCLEX
- A complete and accurate resume must be attached to the application
Preferred Qualifications
- Three to five years of neurology experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
