Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to a varied pediatric patient population in an acute hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team to deliver high-quality care
• Work closely with patients and family members to support treatment plans and emotional needs
• Manage care for patients ranging from newborns to young adults with diagnoses including sickle cell anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors
• Participate in ongoing education, including Chemotherapy Certification and Bone Marrow Transplant courses

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license (or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire for Graduate Nurse applicants)
• Successful completion of the NCLEX
• Submission of a complete and accurate resume

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in oncology nursing
• Current chemotherapy certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills
