Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide primary care to critically ill surgical patients and their families
• Manage complex, multi-system health problems in a 48-bed adult telemetry step-down unit
• Provide specialized post-operative care for patients undergoing cardio-thoracic surgeries, including heart valve repairs, CABG, LVAD implants, and transplants
• Participate in various health activities and clinical interventions to support patient recovery

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN licensure to practice nursing
• One (1) year of Telemetry RN experience
• Ability to work night shifts, including 50% weekend shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Recent ICU or ICU step-down experience
• ACLS or CCRN certification
• Demonstrated leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
