Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in various Adult Intensive Care Units
• Manage patients with complex illnesses requiring physiologic monitoring and intensive care
• Support patients requiring ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Administer parenteral or enteral nutrition and manage multiple cardiac agents and vaso-pressive drips
• Act as a patient and family advocate within the healthcare team

Requirements

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse License
• 3+ years of experience in an adult ICU within a Level 1 or 2 hospital (within the last 5 years)
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Ability to pass the CSR EKG exam with at least 80%

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• CCRN certification
• Experience floating to multiple units
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and GroupWise
