Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for adult cardiac telemetry and stepdown patients in a 32-bed unit
• Manage complex conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndrome, and pulmonary hypertension
• Care for patients with Implanted Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) and those receiving prostacyclin infusions
• Maintain high standards of patient care, education, and safety within the PAV 12 unit

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license (or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire for Graduate Nurses)
• Successful completion of the NCLEX
• A complete and accurate resume must be attached to the application

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• 1 year of RN experience
• Previous experience in Telemetry, ICU, or Cardiology
• ACLS certification
• Experience with IABP or CVVH
