Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to psychiatric patients on the adult inpatient psychiatric unit
• Assist with inpatient diagnostic evaluations and comprehensive treatment plans
• Coordinate psychotherapeutic, psychosocial, and psychopharmacological treatments
• Support patients participating in approved diagnostic and treatment research programs

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license
• Eighteen (18) months of recent psychiatric experience as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Demonstrated knowledge of cognitive behavioral treatment for depression and other psychiatric disorders
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in the utilization of Welle training
