About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide culturally sensitive, team-based nursing care for Benign and Myeloma oncology patients.
  • Manage clinic flow, including triage and assessment of high-acuity patients.
  • Deliver therapy and procedural education to patients and families regarding oncologic conditions.
  • Administer and manage medications, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oral therapies.
  • Perform port maintenance and respond to clinic emergencies.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care within electronic health records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including infusion, scheduling, and lab management.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of oncology RN experience within the last five (5) years.
  • Minimum of 12 months of Myeloma and Benign Hematology experience within the last five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
  • Ambulatory care experience with telephone triage and symptom management within the last five (5) years.
