Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered care to pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery patients in a 32-bed unit
• Monitor and observe patients in moderate care beds requiring closer attention
• Support patients ranging in age from newborns to young adults
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality healthcare
• Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborative practice

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license
• 18 months of inpatient RN experience
• PALS certification (must be obtained within six months of hire or before the end of the probationary period)
• Submission of a complete and accurate resume

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• One to two years of pediatric nursing experience
• One to two years of experience in a pediatric congenital heart program
• Demonstrated excellent communication and problem-solving skills
