Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive, team-based nursing care for the Rogel Cancer Center Blue Team
• Manage clinic flow, including patient triage and assessment of high-acuity patients
• Deliver oncologic education to patients and families regarding chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oral therapies
• Perform medication administration, port maintenance, and respond to clinic emergencies
• Maintain accurate and efficient electronic health record documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including infusion, scheduling, and lab management

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of 3 years of oncology RN experience within the last five years
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation and typing

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• OCN certification
• Ambulatory Care experience with telephone triage or symptom management within the last 3 years
