Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to complex internal medicine patients on a 32-bed telemetry unit
• Utilize the nursing process to manage patient care and monitor telemetry data
• Supervise unlicensed personnel directly
• Implement standards of care including bedside report, geographical nursing, and hourly rounding
• Collaborate with Medicine Faculty Hospitalists and the multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license (or ability to obtain within 45 days for Graduate Nurses)
• Successful completion of the NCLEX
• A complete and accurate resume must be attached to the application

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of 6 months of RN experience, preferably in an inpatient setting
• Previous experience in telemetry or adult internal medicine
• Demonstrated experience in leadership roles, such as charge nurse or preceptor
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and professional communication skills
