About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide acute nursing care for adult medicine patients requiring 8-72 hour stays
- Manage care for post-procedural, Emergency Department, and palliative care patients
- Perform close observation, assessment, and patient teaching
- Monitor cardiac assessments and arrhythmias
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license (or ability to obtain within 45 days for Graduate Nurses)
- Successful completion of the NCLEX
- Submission of a complete and accurate resume
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Telemetry experience
- Recent ICU or ICU step-down experience
- ACLS or CCRN certification
- Demonstrated leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills
