Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Ketamine patients
• Conduct and document outpatient ECT assessments
• Work within the ECT PACU to manage patient care
• Anticipate the clinical care needs of complex psychiatric patients

Requirements

• Current RN license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan
• ACLS / PALS Certification (required within 3 months of hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience
• Recent ECT nursing experience within the last year
• Experience in the utilization of Welle, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), or NAPPI

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Recent experience with UM-MiChart
• Recent experience completing ECT Assessments
• Knowledge of cognitive behavioral treatment for depression and other psychiatric disorders
