About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to critically ill adult patients in a 20-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Manage complex multi-system health problems including respiratory failure, sepsis, renal failure, and hepatic failure
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver care to patients and their families
- Participate in various health activities and clinical interventions within the unit
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license
- Two or more years of Telemetry experience within the last five years
- ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)
- Ability to provide a complete and accurate resume
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Previous ICU or PACU experience
- Charge nurse experience
- Experience with electronic documentation
- CCRN certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
