Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to critically ill adult patients in a 20-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Manage complex multi-system health problems including respiratory failure, sepsis, renal failure, and hepatic failure
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver care to patients and their families
• Participate in various health activities and clinical interventions within the unit

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license
• Two or more years of Telemetry experience within the last five years
• ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)
• Ability to provide a complete and accurate resume

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Previous ICU or PACU experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Experience with electronic documentation
• CCRN certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
