Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in assigned operating rooms within the Kahn Health Care Pavilion
• Work under the clinical supervision of a Charge Nurse, Clinical Supervisor, or Clinical Nursing Director
• Rotate shifts and accept call assignments as required by management
• Assist in the teaching activities of the Operating Room unit
• Support various surgical specialties including neurosurgery, spine, and general thoracic

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
• Two years of recent (within the last three years) experience in circulating and scrubbing as an RN
• Ability to work with a non-responsive patient population
• Commitment to a call schedule with a 30-minute response time

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Demonstrated ability to handle stress, conflict, and resolution
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team member
• Satisfactory attendance record
