Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, evidence-based, and holistic patient-centered care for critical and moderate care medical-surgical patients
• Manage care for acute and chronic ventilated patients and those transitioning from ICU to general care
• Utilize the nursing process to identify, evaluate, and implement care plans in an intermediate care environment
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and clinical excellence
• Maintain high standards of conscientious care within a 20-bed Progressive Critical Care unit

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license
• A complete and accurate resume must be attached to the application
• Ability to meet all required qualifications prior to the start date of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• 6 months to 1 year of Acute Care RN experience
• ICU RN experience
• Experience with ventilator management
• One year of charge nurse experience
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
