Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to critically ill adult patients in a 20-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Utilize the nursing process to manage complex, multi-system health problems including respiratory failure, sepsis, and renal failure
• Support patients and families through complex medical diagnoses and health activities
• Participate in a collaborative team environment to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license
• 18 months of ICU RN experience
• ACLS certification (required or must be obtained within six months of hire)
• Ability to provide a complete and accurate resume

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in PACU or as a Charge Nurse
• CCRN certification
• Experience with electronic documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
