Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care for adult hematology/oncology, bone marrow transplant (BMT), and surgical telemetry patients
• Deliver world-class care to patients and their families using a multidisciplinary team approach
• Administer chemotherapy and interpret EKGs following hospital-based training and competency check-offs
• Manage care for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and various gynecologic oncology cases
• Float between the 7W and 8E units as needed based on staffing requirements and patient census

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license
• Successful completion of the NCLEX (Graduate Nurses must pass prior to start date)
• Ability to work a 36-hour weekly schedule, including a rotation of 2 out of 4 weekends
• Must provide a complete and accurate resume for consideration

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• 2–5 years of experience in Oncology nursing
• 2–5 years of experience in surgical post-operative care
• Recent experience in telemetry monitoring
