About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to complex medicine patients using the nursing process
- Monitor patients requiring telemetry in a 48-bed coronary medicine and structural heart unit
- Participate in a 6-10 week orientation including training on basic arrhythmias and electrophysiology
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Successful completion of the NCLEX
- Graduate Nurse (GN) applicants are considered; GN candidates must pass the NCLEX within 45 days of hire
- A complete and accurate resume is required for consideration
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous patient care experience or relevant clinical skills
- Demonstrated time management and problem-solving abilities
- Strong professional communication skills
