Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to multiple pediatric populations, including ICU, general care, and outpatient settings
• Maintain airway, monitor vital signs, EKG, and arterial lines, and manage pain via epidural and PCAs
• Deliver patient and family-centered care, including comprehensive education
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage complex pediatric care requirements
• Manage the entire perioperative experience, including pre-operative care, post-op care, discharge, and phone triage
• Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday obligations

Requirements

• Current nursing licensure in the State of Michigan
• At least two (2) years of experience in one of the following: PACU, Pediatric ED, or Pediatric ICU (within the last three years)
• Ability to work a day/evening rotation with weekend and on-call requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• PALS and ACLS certifications
• CPAN/CAPA certification
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in patient-family centered care
