Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide acute and moderate care for patients within a specialized 48-bed hospital unit
• Support adult surgical patients undergoing major reconstructive, microvascular, neurosurgical, and orthopedic procedures
• Care for patients following total laryngectomy, tracheostomy, glossectomy, and other head and neck cancer procedures
• Manage care for vascular patients, including those undergoing TAVR and Carotid Endarterectomy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float to designated units as needed during times of low census

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license
• Successful completion of the NCLEX
• Graduate Nurses (GN) will be considered; must pass the NCLEX for Michigan licensure within 45 days of hire
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• One year of telemetry experience
• Experience and comfort with tracheostomies and suctioning
