Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process knowledge to achieve patient goals
• Identify and recognize abnormal or unusual patient responses
• Provide care for highly complex patients under consultation
• Ensure practice is consistent with professional standards and ethical frameworks
• Participate in continuing education and lifelong learning
• Perform reflective practice to improve quality of nursing care

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Registered Nursing program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
• Current medication certificate meeting CNO standards
• Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience working with adult acute care medicine patients
