Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, collaborative, and competent care in accordance with UHN Professional Practice Model
• Ensure practice is consistent with College of Nurses of Ontario standards and UHN policies
• Perform head to toe assessments
• Administer blood products and intravenous medications via central venous access devices
• Perform chemotherapy administration through the DeSouza Institute
• Participate in continuing education and reflective practice to improve patient care quality

Requirements

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BScN degree
