Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation
• Obtain and document patient health history, vital signs, and chief complaints
• Execute prescribed treatments, administer medications, and monitor patient response
• Educate patients and families regarding health status and management of acute or chronic conditions
• Act as a primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians within community-based practices
• Document all assessment and intervention data using established medical record systems
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois
• Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience
• Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability to travel locally within the South Region (including Chicago, Flossmoor, Calumet City, and surrounding areas)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting
