Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care including patient assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation
• Obtain and document health history, vital signs, and chief complaints while assessing disease conditions
• Execute prescribed treatments, administer medications, and monitor patient response to interventions
• Educate patients and families regarding health status, health maintenance, and management of acute or chronic conditions
• Act as a primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians within community-based physician practices
• Document all assessment and intervention data using established medical record systems
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and clinical outcomes
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure all care follows established standards and federal/state regulations

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois
• Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience
• Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability to travel locally to various outpatient facilities in the North Region (Chicago, Northbrook, Hinsdale, and LaGrange)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting
