About the role
Responsibilities
- Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing
- Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to standard operating procedures
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
- Support plasma center operations and follow guidance from Medical Affairs regarding health and safety
- Manage employee incidents and support vaccination programs as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, including a graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program
- Current license or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- State-required certification for basic IV therapy
- Two years of clinical or hospital experience
