Registered Nurse - Surgical Services - OR

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of patient care
• Supervise care provided by professional and ancillary personnel
• Assess and plan educational needs for patients and families to support health maintenance and restoration
• Implement the nursing plan and coordinate with the medical plan and interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate professionalism through quality of care, leadership, and continued professional development
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
• Float to other departments as patient needs dictate

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of previous clinical experience in the appropriate nursing area
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• CNOR certification
